• 1) A rating for a pornographic movie. 2) When followed by an L, a size of clothing. 3) The number 30 in Roman numerals. 4) A way of censoring four letter expletives.
  Example: 1) "Dude, this porn film is XXX." 2) "Dude, Blair's fat mum wears XXXL." 3) "Dude, know what 30 is in Roman?" "What dude?" "XXX dude." 4) "Dude, fxxx those fxxxing fxxxers at MTV, they've messed up the sxxx TV, cxxxs." "Dude, calm down."

  Example: I once received this e-mail from a posh girl's school: "An e-mail addressed to you has been blocked by 'PornControl', due to its obscene content. The offending content was 'xxx'." It turned out that my friend had signed off with, "See you soon, Jenny. xxx" (a) 'PornControl' (not its real name) was set not to protect the girls from the wicked outside world, but to protect the outside world from the obscene girls. (b) If it detected an obscenity in an e-mail, it kept the e-mail and just sent the obscenity. (c) There's nothing wrong with typing 'xxx' Don't ya just love it?

  Example: Wow, that awesome guy at Trash and Vaudeville had an xxx ring and said he was straight-edge, but then he lit up a cigarette.
• XXX is straight edge which originated from the band Minor Threat which means u live a positive clean life without drugs and alchohol

• Used in mobile phone text messaging and IM speak to represent a small kiss on the left cheek, a big kiss on the lips and a small kiss on the right cheek.

• hardcore. Common applications at: 1. Hardcore pornography 2. Exceptionally [rugged] hard liquor, esp. moonshine 3. Straight edge culture, whose music, I'm told is ont "technically" punk music (whatever that means) but is strictly speaking called "hardcore"
  Example: 1. "hot XXX action" 2. Y'know, like in cartoons? 3. etc. etc.

• Porno, pr0n, peep shows...You get the idea. An etymological note: An "X" rating used to mean a film wasn't rated. (In fact, one X-rated movie, Midnight Cowboy, won an Oscar.) Pornographers got hold of the X in the 70s, and soon the X became associated with ill-repute. XXX is just a way of advertising it.

BUZZZZ then you would see one two or three big red x's on the tv screen 6) the first triple x movie was good but the last one wasn't that great.

• XXX tells you that what ever is inside, it will be fun.
  Example: My eyes lit up when i saw XXX on the video in my dad's drawer.
• ...means Amsterdam. (Old city crest has red shield with black stripe and XXX.) According to some it's the source of the porn usage, meaning "this is the dog's bollocks, it's from Amsterdam".
  Example: XXX is embossed on the suggestive meaty bollards which line every street. They're called Amsterdammetjes or little Amsterdammers.
